Add a Watermark to Photos

Protect and brand your photos with text or your logo. The watermark scales with each image, so it looks the same on every photo in a batch.

  • No upload: runs in your browser
  • Free, no account, no watermark
  • Text or logo
  • Tiled option
  • Batch with ZIP

Runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to SBGeeks or anyone else. Privacy policy

How to use the Watermark Tool

  1. Drop one or more photos on the box, or choose them.
  2. Type your watermark text, or switch to Logo and add a PNG logo with a transparent background.
  3. Set the position, size, opacity and colour. Use the arrows above the preview to check each photo.
  4. Download photos one at a time or all together as a ZIP.

Why add a watermark?

A watermark marks an image as yours. A small corner logo brands photos you share; a tiled, semi-transparent mark across the whole picture makes it harder to reuse without permission. Neither makes copying impossible, but both make the source clear.

Runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to SBGeeks or anyone else.

How it works

The watermark size is set as a percentage of each image’s width, so a batch of photos of different sizes all get a proportionally identical mark. Margins scale the same way. The tiled option repeats the mark diagonally across the whole image.

Text gets a subtle shadow so it stays readable on both light and dark photos.

Useful for

  • Branding photos for social media and listings
  • Proofs for clients before payment
  • Marking property or product photos
  • Adding a copyright line to a portfolio

Limitations

  • Watermarks discourage reuse but cannot prevent it; corner marks are easy to crop out.
  • The fonts available are the standard ones on your device.
  • For logos, use a PNG with a transparent background; a JPG logo will show its white box.

Questions

Where should I put a watermark?
For branding, a bottom corner at 15–25% of the width with 40–60% opacity is unobtrusive. To deter reuse, use the tiled option at a low opacity.
Can I watermark many photos at once?
Yes. Add as many as you like; the same settings apply to all, and you can download them as one ZIP.
