Social media marketing with a purpose beyond posting

A plan for what to publish, where and why, the content to carry it out, and paid campaigns that put it in front of the right people.

  • Strategy tied to a business goal, not a posting quota
  • Content created for each platform
  • Paid social on Meta and LinkedIn
  • Reporting on reach, engagement and leads

What is social media marketing?

Social media marketing is the use of platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn to build awareness of a business, stay in contact with its customers and generate enquiries. It combines organic content and community management with paid advertising.

Organic reach on most platforms is limited: a post is shown to a fraction of the people who follow a page. That changes what social media is good for. Organic content keeps a business credible and current for people who look it up. Paid campaigns are what reach new people, because targeting by location, interest and behaviour is precise and the cost is controllable.

For a local business, social profiles are also part of how customers and search systems confirm it is real and active. That is why we plan social alongside local SEO and content marketing rather than as a separate activity.

Signs you need it

Posting without a plan

Content goes out when someone remembers, with no theme, no goal and no way to tell whether it worked.

Followers but no enquiries

The audience has grown but nothing connects it to the website, the phone or the booking page.

Boosted posts that go nowhere

Money is spent promoting posts with broad targeting and no conversion tracking.

Comments and messages go unanswered

Questions and complaints sit in the inbox, in public view, for days.

What the service covers

Social media strategy

Which platforms deserve effort, who you are trying to reach on each, what you will publish and how success is measured.

Social media management

A content calendar, scheduled publishing, and monitoring of comments and messages with agreed response times.

Content creation

Graphics, short video, carousels and copy made for each platform's format, using your own photos and footage wherever possible.

Facebook and Instagram

Organic content and Meta Ads campaigns for local awareness, lead forms, messages and remarketing.

LinkedIn marketing

Company page content and sponsored campaigns for business-to-business services, targeted by role, industry and company size.

How we work

  1. Audit and goals

We review your profiles, competitors and past results, and agree what social media is supposed to achieve.

  2. Plan

A monthly calendar sets themes, formats and campaigns. You approve content before it is scheduled.

  3. Publish and engage

Content goes out on schedule. Comments and messages are handled or passed to you, depending on what was agreed.

  4. Measure

A monthly report shows what was published, how it performed and what the paid budget returned.

What you receive

  • A written social media strategy
  • A monthly content calendar for approval
  • Platform-specific posts, graphics and short video
  • Paid campaign setup with conversion tracking
  • A monthly performance report

Who it suits

  • Local businesses where visuals sell: food, beauty, fitness, property, trades
  • Business-to-business services building authority on LinkedIn
  • Companies with no time to run their own profiles
  • Brands already running Google Ads that want a second paid channel

What it costs

Pricing depends on the number of platforms, posting frequency, how much content we produce and whether paid campaigns are included. Ad spend is paid directly to the platform. Request a proposal through the contact page.

Questions we are asked

Which social media platforms should my business use?
The ones your customers use and you can sustain. For most local consumer businesses that is Facebook and Instagram; for business-to-business services, LinkedIn. Doing one or two well beats spreading thin across five.
Does social media help SEO?
Not directly; likes and shares are not ranking factors. Indirectly it helps: active profiles support brand searches, content gets seen and linked, and consistent profiles help search engines and AI systems confirm the business is real.
How often should a business post?
Consistency matters more than volume. Two or three considered posts a week on a platform is a sound baseline for most small businesses.
Should we pay for social media ads?
If the aim is to reach new customers, usually yes. Organic posts reach a small share of existing followers. Paid campaigns reach chosen audiences in a chosen area for a controlled budget.
Will you respond to comments and messages for us?
We can. Routine questions are answered from an agreed guide; complaints and anything sensitive are passed to you promptly.
