Install the SBGeeks app

SBGeeks installs straight from your browser. There is no app store and nothing to download: it adds an icon to your home screen and opens in its own window.

How to install

Pick your device

Android

Chrome on Android

  1. Open sbgeeks.com in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu at the top right.
  3. Tap Add to Home screen, then Install. Some phones show Install app instead.

Samsung Internet: tap the menu, then Add page to and Home screen.

iPhone and iPad

Safari on iOS

  1. Open sbgeeks.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up).
  3. Scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.

iPhones never show an install pop-up. The Share menu is the only way.

Computer

Chrome or Edge

  1. Open sbgeeks.com.
  2. Click the install icon at the right of the address bar.
  3. Click Install.

No icon? Open the browser menu and look for Install SBGeeks or Apps.

If you cannot see the option

Three things to check

I am in a private or Incognito tab
Browsers do not allow installing from a private or Incognito tab. Open sbgeeks.com in a normal tab and try again.
I opened the site from WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram
Links tapped inside those apps open in the app's own built-in browser, which cannot install anything. Use that browser's menu to choose "Open in Chrome" or "Open in Safari", then install from there.
I am using a different browser
On iPhone, use Safari. On Android, use Chrome, Edge or Samsung Internet. Firefox on Android offers "Add to Home screen" in its menu. Some other browsers cannot install apps at all.
It is already installed
If SBGeeks is already on the device, the browser hides the install option. Look for the SBGeeks icon among your apps.

Install the SBGeeks app

On iPhone or iPad, use Safari:

  1. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up).
  2. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  3. Tap Add. The SBGeeks icon appears on your home screen.

On Android, use Chrome:

  1. Tap the three-dot menu at the top right.
  2. Tap Add to Home screen, then Install. (Some phones show Install app instead.)
  3. The SBGeeks icon appears with your other apps.

Not there? Make sure you are not in an Incognito tab, and that the page was opened in Chrome itself, not inside another app.

This page is open inside another app (such as WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram), which cannot install apps.

  1. Tap the menu in the corner and choose Open in browser (Chrome or Safari).
  2. Then tap Install again.

On a computer, use Chrome or Edge: click the install icon at the right of the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install SBGeeks.
