What is a photo collage?

A collage combines several photos into one image. Grids are good for showing a range of products or before-and-after sets; rows suit wide banners; columns suit tall formats such as Stories and Pinterest.

Runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to SBGeeks or anyone else.

Free to use, with no sign-up, no limits on the number of files and no watermark added.

How it works

Each photo is placed in a cell of the layout. In Fill mode it is scaled to cover the cell and centred, trimming the edges; in Fit mode the whole photo is kept and the cell’s spare space shows the background colour. The final image is drawn at the output width you choose, so it is sharp at that size.

Useful for

  • Before and after photos for a service business
  • Product range images for social posts
  • Event highlights in one image
  • Mood boards and simple portfolios

Limitations

  • Layouts are regular grids, rows and columns; free-form placement is not available.
  • Very many large photos in one collage can be slow on phones.

Questions

What size should a collage be for Instagram?
Use 1080 px wide with 1:1 cells for a square post, or a 4:5 portrait shape. Instagram displays images at 1080 px wide.
Can I make a before-and-after image?
Yes. Add the two photos, choose Row with 2 images, set the cell shape to match your photos, and download.
